Hey Everyone,

Happy Tuesday! I’ve officially moved my main newsletter/blog updates to Tuesdays because Mondays and I are never going to be friends.

Old lady Piper continues to be the smartest one in this house. The tornado sirens went off for testing the other day and she immediately started whining at the girls and heading straight for the basement door. Only took her ten years, but she’s got tornado protocol down now.

Phlox & Possession is officially live! It was a bit chaotic — I had to manually fix a weird KDP Select enrollment delay, but it’s properly on Kindle Unlimited now. Huge thank you to everyone who read it as an ARC. Your reviews and messages mean the world. And a big hello to all the new faces finding me lately.

Facebook is still where I’m most active for real-time updates, random life posts, and general chaos.

If you haven’t already, you can subscribe to this newsletter here: marrinlocke.subscribepage.io

On the home front, I want to properly introduce my youngest, Izzy. She’s ten, hyper as hell, and deeply obsessed with STEM. She’s been trying to build robots out of anything she can find — including a back roller she insists she can turn into a functional robot with “wires and stuff.”

In other domestic chaos, I stress-baked a cake based on the video game Portal. It turned out pretty damn cute if I do say so myself.

On the writing side, I’m deep in editing Seen Twice. Mine Eternally. I keep hyper-focusing on the first ten chapters and rewriting the same scenes over and over before I can move on. Currently working on a cockwarming scene that’s living rent-free in my head. I’ll be sharing a snippet of that in the newsletter going out Wednesday so make sure you’re subscribed!

That’s all for now. Thank you for being here with me through the mess, the launches, and everything in between.

As always, stay in the dark. 🖤

~ Marrin (and Piper, who is snoring under the table like none of this chaos affects her at all)
